a dirty shhh
a filthy whisper
he turns out to be
her little ghost
there tonight
gone tomorrow
sneaking around
hes her little ghost
she doesnt care
because hell be back
floating in and then out
hes her little ghost
til she finds the man
who will always stay
but until that day
waiting shell be
never walking away
from her little ghost

Watermelon days are far long gone
They melted in the rain
And with them went the sun and the beaches
All smoothly down the drain
For the relaxation of these days
Is their downfall
They give up without a fight
Too busy tanning and swimming all day
Too busy partying all night
Surely without a hitch
Green turns orange and yellow and red
Instead of games all night
Quietly to bed
So goodbye watermelon days
You’ll be missed greatly
You’ll be missed dear, but for just a few days
Love, see you next year

life falls
it crawls
hides and quivers
subtle mistakes
lead to new me
oops
i changed me again

yar
pirate
plunder and pilage
drifting about
like broken pieces
of a whole
rotten ship
sunken
the unsinkable

for her this rhyme is penned, whose luminous eyes,
brightly expressive as as the twins of loeda,
shall find her own sweet name, that, nestling lies
upon the page, enwrapped from every reader.
search narrowly the lines! — they hold a treasure
divine — a talisman — an amulet
that must be worn at heart . search well the measure –
the words — the syllables! do not forget
the trivialest point, or you may lose your labor!
and yet there is in this no gordian knot
which one might not undo without a sabre,
if one could merely comprehend the plot.
enwritten up the leaf where now are peering
eyes’ scintillating soul, ther lie perdus
three eloquent words oft uttered in the hearing
of poets, by poets — as the name is a poet’s too.
its letters, although naturally lying
like the knight pinto — mendez ferdinando –
still form a synonym for the truth. — cease trying!
you will not read the riddle, though you do the best you can do.

let me be your vine, Flower
let me be your trunk, Tree
let me be your rays, Sun
let me be your love, Boy
let me hold you close
let me hear your heart
let me be the beat the flows
through your veins
let me be your crumbs, Ant
let me be your pollen, Bee
let me be your kibble, Puppy
let me be your love, Boy
let me hold you close
let me feel your breath
let me be the air that
gently fills your lungs
let me be your teddy, Child
let me be your brush, Artist
let me be your laugh, Clown
let me be your love, Boy
let me hold you close
never let me let go
never let me give up
be my glue, Boy
be my cement, Love
be my sanity, Boy
be my love, Love
oh let me be your love, Boy

"i want to do to you what
spring does with the cherry trees"
i want to do to you what
heat does to popcorn
i want to do to you what
sun does with all things green
i want to do to you what
fire does with a roman candle
"i want to do to you what
spring does with the cherry trees"
i want to hold you
like a child with her teddy
i want to hold you
like a puppy with a bone
i want to hold you
like a woman with her lover
"i want to do to you what
spring does with the cherry trees"
i want to know you
i want to be yours
i want to have you
i want to be spring mister cherry tree
i need to be spring
oh love, let me be your spring
